Hi RICH Author Icon,

This review is a part of "Game of ThronesOpen in new Window. [13+]. *Smile*

Overall Impression:

This is a sweet poem, dear author. It is a nice reflection on wishes.

The way wishes work is often not the way in which we might wish that they work. Even if the wishes do work, the results might be small and easy to miss. As the poem addresses, an easier way to make wishes come true is by hard work, dedication, believing in yourself and others and in your dreams and goals. Throwing a penny into a well is probably not going to achieve much. Though it may encourage, and feel good at the time.

On the technical side of things, this poem has an easy rhythm and flow. It contains some nice rhymes. I like your use of punctuation, as this helps guide the reader. And I like that you allowed the capitalisation at the beginning of each line to depend upon the individual sentences within the piece. This perfects the overall clarity and reading experience. Great job!

Suggestions:

I do have some suggestions, dear author. I hope that you'll find them helpful!

Line 2:

*Snow2* there was a little boy,so gay

I think that this needs a space after the comma.

Line 4:

*Snow2* in the wishing-well it did go.

This line feels a little forced to me. I would be tempted to change it to in the wishing well it went. That would sound pleasing with the line above it, too.

Line 22:

*Snow2* making her daddy's day.

I would be tempted to change "day" to "days", as this doesn't take away from the message, and would offer a better rhyme with the "ways" above it.

General Suggestion:

*Snow2* I suggest removing the line spaces between the lines in this poem. It doesn't need them, and I found them to be a bit distracting.

My Rating:

This is a sweet, creative poem. I enjoyed the read, thank you!

I did have some suggestions. I will give this item a rating of 4 out of 5.

Thank you for sharing your work, and write on!
