Hi Shanachie , This review is a part of "Game of Thrones" [13+]. Overall Impression: This is a poem about an old saying - sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me. As this poem expresses, that old saying is a whole lot of nonsense. Words can hurt. They can cause a lot of pain, do a lot of damage, leave scars that can be felt throughout someone's lifetime. That saying gives kids (and adults) a license to say anything they want, and makes any hurt caused the responsibility of the recipient. Which isn't right, as shown in your poem. On the technical side of things, this poem reads well. It has a good rhythm and flow. I like your use of punctuation, as it helps guide the reader and assists the overall clarity. Good job! Suggestions: I have no suggestions about the poem's content. I like it just the way it is. The only thing I'd suggest is allowing the capitalisation at the beginning of each line to depend upon the individual sentences within the piece. This would perfect the overall clarity and reading experience. My Rating: This is a good poem with an important message. I was glad to read it. I did have one suggestion, but that's more of a personal preference. So, I will still give this item a rating of 5 out of 5. Thank you for sharing your work, and write on!
