Plot/story elements: Did I feel attached to the story or poem? I have never thought to write about leaves fluttering and the grass sighing but it makes a beautiful image. Would I recommend this piece of writing to someone else? Romance and nature go together so beautifully. I think that's why so many major poets became famous for their romance poems. They intertwined the two so beautifully together. I think you have the same talent. Phrases like: clouds colliding, lake's bright mirror, thunder calls for quiet are great examples of personification. Was there a clear purpose to it? I felt like the end was so hopeful as love is when it first starts. It reminds me of new and exciting connection with another person. The natural optimism in this piece makes me reflect on the importance of maintaining that exciting connection. Glows: The imagery and personification of this piece are masterfully executed. My favorite example is imagining the thunder calling for more quiet as if it somehow commands the storm. It's a unique idea. The ending tomorrow is another day is so bright and romantic and exudes certain optimism. It was a beautiful ending. Grows: I might experiment with it a few verses and talk about the clearing of the storm.
