Hi Bikerider Author Icon,

This review is a part of "Game of ThronesOpen in new Window. [13+]. *Smile*

Overall Impression:

This is a lovely, fun poem, dear author. It has such a gentle, delightful touch.

The scene is a simple one. Someone wants to go fishing. The weather doesn't look too great. He/she hopes the rain won't come, but then it does, the person gets soaked, and they actually end up finding joy in it.

When I say simple, I certainly don't mean that as a criticism. I liked it. Sometimes a simple setting can be the best. And you use it to your full advantage in this poem.

I love the imagery. You paint a vivid picture. And I love the fun, soothing emotions they gave me.

On the technical side of things, this poem reads well. It has a pleasant rhythm. It's well-presented. It has a good rhyming scheme. I like your use of punctuation - it adds to the overall clarity. All in all, an enjoyable read.

Suggestions:

I have no suggestions about the poem's content. I like it just the way it is. The only thing I'd suggest is allowing the capitalisation at the beginning of each line to depend upon the individual sentences within the piece. This would perfect the overall clarity and reading experience.

My Rating:

As you can no doubt tell, I like this poem. I was happy to read it.

I did have one suggestion, but that's more of a personal preference. So, I will still give this item a rating of 5 out of 5.

Thank you for sharing your work, and write on!
