Plot/story elements:

Did I feel attached to the story or poem?

I feel attached to the idea that it's natural to detach because of the inevitable pain we brush up against in this earthly realm. I think it's our plight to suffer in this state of existence and still wake up to fight another day and prove that we are worthy of love and light.


Would I recommend this piece of writing to someone else?

I think it's important to share our work when we feel the most vulnerable. Many things in life will change and writing is so good for the soul when we live in painful circumstances. I love the author is brave enough to show their vulnerabilities.


Was there a clear purpose to it?

I always see purpose in going towards enlightenment. I think it's what we all strive for. I love to write because it allows me to make unspoken connections with people who might be going through similar experiences. I love pondering what else is out there and our connection to realms beyond this earthly one.


Glows:

My favorite line is the is the sixth one down that starts with I see my reflection. The imagery of that line is beautiful, the reflection in the water compared to a branch floating. We can't stay in this place forever because we are destined for other things, or at least, that's my opinion.


Grows:

I would use commas to help me pause between the lines. I love your separations.
