Hi Shaye Author Icon,

This review is a part of "Game of ThronesOpen in new Window. [13+]. *Smile*

Overall Impression:

Being a bookworm, I was naturally drawn to this poem. It didn't disappoint.

Your poem reflects on what books mean to different people. For some, books don't mean a thing. They might prefer movies, or TV series, or anything but the adventure the author would like to take them on. Others, like myself, are eager to join in that adventure. We escape to other worlds, and become attached to the different characters. Yet, a book is indeed just a book. Paper, words, sentences. People can find in it whatever they like.

I love the imagery you use, and the directness of this piece. I could connect with it very well.

On the technical side of things, I found it easy to pick up on the rhythm and flow of the item. I like your use of punctuation, as it assists the overall clarity of the piece. And I like that you allow the capitalisation at the beginning of each line to depend on the individual sentences within the poem. That enhances the overall reading experience.

Suggestions:

I have no suggestions. Not very helpful, I know, but I could spot no errors, nor did I find anything that I felt could be improved upon. Your poem worked for me!

My Rating:

This is an excellent poem. I enjoyed reading it. *Smile*

I had no suggestions, so I will give this item a rating of 5 out of 5. It deserves it.

Thank you for sharing your work, and write on!
