Did I feel attached to the story or poem?

Awesome job with the terror! And it rhymed perfectly! I loved it! I don't know if I will be able to sleep tonight so it definitely hit the mark!


Would I recommend this piece of writing to someone else?

Absolutely, if someone wanted to be scared to their wits end! Poetic horror at its best! Halloween is an awesome time of year for those of us who like a good fright!


Was there a clear purpose to it?

Yep, feel the chills now. I'll be sleeping with the lights on, definitely. Scary poems are so hard to write for me so I appreciate them when I read a good one. It's hard to invoke fear in poetry. Usually, that medium is saved for romantics and angst.


Glows:

I love the dialog and the story telling infused with the rhyming. It's a piece I aspire to writing to. Whatever the fear is, it's alive and waiting for us at our most vulnerable times, time for sleep. There's no foot prints on the floor so whatever it is, it hides well.



Grows:

None. Excellent job!



Miscellaneous Comments:

It reminds me of a Stephen King novel. Not the poem itself but it could be turned into a horror movie easily and make millions at the box office. Good job!
