Review of Canada Day Vaycay

First and foremost, thank you for sharing your work . I am not an expert reviewer. I am just another writer, but I know it is the reviews that help us to perfect our craft. My opinions are just that; my opinions.

OVERALL IMPRESSIONS:

A flash fiction story about someone traveling north from Toronto into the surrounding farmland. Obviously going to some family event probably in the growing cottage area.

PLOT & CHARACTERS:

I thought you description of traffic along the highway was exceptionally accurate. Highway 400 can certainly be just as you described. Then the realization hits the driver. They were suppose to bring something to this family get-together, They wisely choose to stop at one of the many roadside fruit stands in the Holland marsh and purchase some of red red strawberries.


FINAL THOUGHTS:

Your story reminds me of the many family reunions I have attended. Please write more because this flash fiction story hit home.
