*NoteV* Story ~
Cody is a fighter pilot working the night shift, protecting the skies. He and two other pilots encounter something out of the ordinary and have a close call with their aircraft.

*NoteG* Characters ~
Cody has a wife and son, and enjoys flying at night. He thinks their call signs are moronic. He trusts the other two pilots with him with his life. They joke around with one another while on patrol, but are serious and focused when it comes to their job.

*NoteV* Issues ~
I glanced down at the picture of my beautiful wife, Emily, who was holding out/lour newborn son, Jacob, in her arms.

"Air Control to Sidious, to/do you wish to make a report of a UFO?"

Damned if I let anything get in the way of his college fund and damned if I put her through more than she's already been through.

~Just a few little typo's, everything else was excellent.

*green**NoteG* Impressions ~
Great descriptions with this story. I was totally engrossed in it from beginnign to end. Loved the Star Wars references that added humor to the story. I could feel the shock and the sweat beading on Cody as the UFO came into focus and his plane was flying on vapor. It was a very believable story. Especially when it came to the point where they had to decide if they were going to report the incident, or keep it to themselves. Can't blame him there on making that choice and putting his family first. It always makes you wonder how often this truly does happen, or if it is all just fiction. Nice job! Write on!
