Hi L.L. Zern ,

I am reviewing this poem as part of "Game of Thrones [13+]. *Smile*

Overall Impression:

This is a very powerful poem, dear author. Beautiful, sad, touching, with a sharp edge of realism.

It tells of the relationship between mother and child. Of the hallmark fluff we can resort to in certain situations, when our real feelings, and our real experiences are so much more poetic - no need for sweetness, and light, and soothing phrases... or perhaps there is a need, sometimes, to comfort the little girl or boy inside of us, when we need soothing and cannot bring ourselves to write about our pain. Life is complex, and the emotions we experience living our life are naturally just as complex. Sometimes it does all come down to bones and teeth.

You express this very well. Your phrasing is excellent, and the imagery is vivid.

On the technical side of things, this poem has a pleasant rhythm that was easy to pick up on. I like your use of punctuation, and I liked that you permitted the capitalisation at the beginning of each line to depend on the individual sentences within the piece. This aided the overall reading experience.

Suggestions:

I have no suggestions, dear author. Not helpful, I know, but I couldn't find any errors nor did I spot anything you could improve upon. Again, well done! *Smile*

My Rating:

As you can tell, I thought that this is a great poem. I am glad that I found it.

I am giving your item a rating of 5 out of 5 - it deserves it.

Thank you for sharing your work, and write on!
