I just read this delightful poem. The story you telling here makes me reading this poem from beginning to the end. Rooster crowing in the morning very loud, with a cock-a-doodle-do that wakes the poet at dawn.

I like the rhyming of the poem.

Favorite lines:

No time to fret, I must set him straight;
it’s disturbing to me, a wee-morning woe.
Some are too crude, it’s beyond the pale;
they’re the rude of the Earth, as far as I know.
