WEATHERED STONES [E] This place is full of broken dreams, and no one cares ... but me. |
Welcome from the WdC Power Reviewers And Lisa Noe ITEM: Weathered Stones AUTHOR: Oldwarrior TYPE: poetry REVIEWED BY LISA ANN NOE WELCOME: Hello oldwarrior,I am here with the power reviewers to read your item Today to give you a detailed review to help you become an excellent writer. "Beauty is in our words"... FIRST IMPRESSION: I am giving you this review because it is the 10th anniversary of the Angel Army and you are highlighted today. This is an outstanding and awesome poem, I can just imagine an old place where the dead lay beneath stones for eternity. I know of one and I visit from time to time I put a flower on every veterans grave or at least until I run out of flowers. My father lays in a grave and I decorate it with the American flag and many beautiful flowers every memorial day, he was a veteran who died at 44 years old. Also my uncles both died as infants so I decorate theirs as well. I think it is so important to honor the memory of those who die, by the bringing of flowers or flags or just a simple visit to a relative's grave would do.the following is my favorite part... EXCERPT: This place is full of broken tombs, and no one seems to see, The shattered dreams, of many lives, and no one cares… but me. SUGGESTIONS: there were no mistakes that I saw. CONCLUSION: This has been an endearing and special read for me, thank you for sharing, you keep writing and I'll keep reading. God bless you.
