This is a review from "Simply Positive Review Forum " Remember I am not a professional reviewer. These are just my personal impressions and thoughts. My goal is to be encouraging and give you something that will actually help your writing. First Impressions: I have some personal connections to the bit of history, so I found this account fascinating. In 1972 I was a ten year old boy and I loved playing chess. The match up between Fischer and Spassky was big news at the time and I remember it well. Your work is obviously well researched. In 1975 my family began attending the Worldwide Church of God as well and I eventually graduated from Ambassador College back in the eighties long after Mr. Fischer left the church headquarters there. I heard a lot of stories about him. If memory serves me correctly, he never actually became a baptized member of this church. I won't argue with your use of the word joined though. He did live at headquarters at one point. He did hang out with the church hierarchy and some of them prided themselves on the connection. He did at one point give church phone numbers and addresses as his contact information. A very interesting, eccentric and at times bizarre individual. My Favorite Elements: I'm impressed with the evident research that went into the piece. Your information appears to be thorough and accurate. Suggestions: For someone with no connection to those events this probably comes across a bit dry. Most of the time this kind of writing is just that and it's hard to transcend. Biggest quibble for me is the formatting. It really improves readability to indent your paragraphs or to put a blank line between them. Readers often balk at what appears to be a giant mass of text. Overall: I found it interesting and overall well written. Keep up the good work. Keep on writing!
