Title: The Blackbird Series, The Queen Bee

First Impression: I've been reading the series for my task as one of the Judges in the Quills. It's an engaging read, great job!

What I liked: The power struggle among the girls was accurately portrayed, sadly there is always someone who assumes the Queen Bee role intimidating the others.

What needs your attention: I did not note punctuation or grammar issues when I was reading. I was engrossed in the story.

Favorite Parts: Gillian and Aldana discussing Tricia outside the room from the other girls, they sure had her pegged right. I felt sorry for the three girls, who were manipulated to commit the crime. Although, after discovering how many were Roger's victims, I lost all sympathy for him. What a SOB, he is!

Overall Impression: The story flowed very smoothly and held this reader's interest. I think you could easily find a market to sell your book if that is the direction you are heading.
