My first impression:This was such a sad story. The very idea that a mother could do this to her children is unimaginable and horrific. Other thoughts:Even in the tragedy of this event, a mom is still a mom to a child, even if sick or mentally unstable, or whatever. That bond cannot really ever be broken. My favorite parts:I like how you wrote about Jesus taking care of the little boys, and I can picture Him taking the boys in His arms and caring for them as only He can. The scene brings a smile, even in the midst of tears. Some suggestions:I found nothing to improve upon in your writing. The flow and rhythm of your poem is smooth and there are no typos or grammar issues that I can see in the mechanics of your writing. Overall: Such sad circumstances, but you wrote about it with grace and with tact. This poem touched me emotionally, even though this event happened a while ago. I agreed with your footnote at the bottom of your poem about the unconditional love young children have for their mommy. Thank you for sharing your heart. sincerely, amyjo ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** My review has been submitted for consideration in "Good Deeds Get CASH!" .
