Title:You're asking newbies to fill in surveys about their experience, so Newbie Research Center seems to fit, although part of my brain keeps imagining some secluded off-the-books scientific centre doing who knows what. *Wink*

First Impression: Not only do you list your own surveys, but you include places for the newbies to go next and suggest things that will help them out. This is a great resource. Let alone your other forums where newbies can earn MBs or Awardicons, it's a shame more newbies don't dive in, but they're all terrific anyway!

Appearance: You've got a colour scheme of orange and navy running through. This is easy on the eyes and helps create an overall theme for your forums and pages.

Activity: You seem to be very activity sending ribbons, it's a shame that more new members don't participate in trying to earn one, although you've probably already got to them before they get the chance! I wonder if this is linked in the "The Newbies Academy Group" Open in new Window. pages, if not, I'll have to suggest they list it somewhere so more newbies can earn those awardicons and MBs. Hm, I checked and it's not, although the only pages linked are NAG pages...

I have to wonder, did you ever get anywhere with the data you were collecting? I'd love to see what the newbies or not-so newbies said about their initial experiences. *Smile*

Spelling/Grammar: No errors spotted!

Closing Thoughts: This is a brilliant resource for newbies and I'm also thankful for the ribbon I received, even though I wasn't technically a newbie. *Wink*
