Thank you for your entry into "Invalid Item"  sparking off this year's writing contest/

OF: JACK'S CREATION -- Oh, how well you put together this flash fiction piece. Each paragraph builds the story and reveals the carving per se.

When the author tells the audience about the pumpkin requesting a "hand mirror", readers might hold onto their chairs for a most surprising ending.
