Amen, very beautiful. It's like no matter how often we see these tragedies, I'm glad the nation, generally speaking has grown...accustomed to them yet.

I always have this gravitation pull to be a part of something historical, either good and bad, which is why I'm thankful I got to experience Communion Sunday @ this church of the July 4th weekend.

It amazed me that for them it was business as usual. You could tell those who don't go to church much or who just were used to suffering the 'minority situation'. They were all sad and somber but as soon as church was out the alter boys ran downstairs (the basement was open, I came in through there and left that way) to get in line first for the after church meal.

We are seriously flawed as humans but damn if we ain't resilient.
