Hi Dandelion Man It's been pleasure to review your "Invalid Item" on behalf of The Simply Positive Group. Please be reminded that my review is based on one person's opinion and you have all rights to choose if you like it or not. So please feel free to use if you find something interesting or just ignore if you don't like something. Why I chose to review your story? Hello there. As one of the judges in "Jane Austen Contest " I'm here to share my thoughts about your entry. Just want to say, thank you so much for entering and like that you keep my contest running. First impression/Plot? Beautiful piece of work, even if it's not too long you still managed to point on important things and to follow the prompt. It's like I'm in the middle of novel, by the way the novel's name is Ellen, and I don't know what happened and what will happen. Your writing style is also excellent and I don't have too much things to say in here. Names? I was just curious what was the name of a man since you didn't mention it anywhere? Overall impression? I loved it because in very small reading you pictured the feelings of two women who are different by wealth and status in society. Weird thing is that, with all wealth or poverty, both of them has been hurt in the same way, by a man they loved and they felt the same. For certainly we can say that no man on Earth have everything. It's weird also how we need just a little bit of something to be happy and even more weird how often that a bit of something is missing there. Your story is pretty and could be nice idea for someone's novel. Maybe mine one day if you don't mind. I found it as very inspirational one. Thank you for keeping my contest alive, I appreciate from the bottom of my heart. ~Minja~ "SIMPLY POSITIVE GROUP" check out my contest "Jane Austen Contest " Be courageous and try to write in a way that scares you a little
