Hello , I am Thinking-Reed an I have reviewed:Coda. I found this opened a new vista for me here at writing.com. A magnificent description of someone who has been a composer reviewing their life. The careful choice of words contributes to the rhythm that spans this poem and holds it together.


Specifics: Verses 4 and 3 from the end: 'nubile mischief' rollls offff the tongue effortlessly (yet these words are working very hard indeed) and these two words are bracketed by 'ringlet curves' and 'join their tones in harmonizing chords' and in this context the vortex of emotion whirls even faster creating a build-up of emotion as powerful as any other in the English language. It is skill so deft that it is effortless. A pleasure to find this beauty here.
