Title: The Art of Criticism Project Newsletter, Issue #26

First Impression: This is wicked awesome, I learned so much in this edition.

What I liked: The explanations about metaphors, symbolic acrostic poetry and elements of a short story.

What needs your attention: Not a thing!

Favorite Parts: I loved the short story contribution by Max Griffin this month and his explanation about the different parts. I laughed about the confusion on the one way street so loudly my husband came to see what amused me. I read it out loud to him and he burst out laughing. My second favorite part was learning about the Symbolic Acrostic Poems, I can't wait to try some myself. I love doing acrostic poems but some of them feel forced to me. Patrick and Mandy helped me understand the process so much better.
I found the discussion on reviewing free style poetry very helpful, I struggle myself when doing reviews because I am never sure exactly what I should focus on. This clarifies it immensely.

Overall Impression: This newsletter totally held my interest from beginning to end. They are always well written but not all the topics appealed to my particular interests. I wondered what drives people to put themselves under that kind of pressure so close to the holidays.
