My name is Lyn and I am doing a review for Simply Positive.

Title: Melancholy

First Impression: It is a very lonely look at life, I felt so sad with the author.

What I liked: The little boy kicking at the seagull because he wanted to be noticed, he was lonely too. I hate seeing parents on their cell phones when they should be spending time with their chilc.

What needs your attention: The title with the poem in the main text body provides unity to the reader's eyes.

Favorite Parts: I can relate to burning the candles at both ends, I have spent most of my life doing it. Sadly, it does take a toll on your mental health.

Overall Impression: A very thought provoking poem that touched my heart because I am good friends, at least I feel that way and I know he is hurting. I know he has to fix it himself, I can only hope it will be soon.
