Your use of the prompt was original and theme was very nice. of both rhymes and near rhymes kept the flow at an even pace. Great job! Your imagery created a wonderful background for the angst the character was feeling. only change I would make is to change the boy's last name from Simon in the second paragraph to Simone as you had it in the first. Other than that great job. Keep up the wonderful writing!
