Hello, I am PandaPaws and I am reviewing this piece as part of the Simply Positive Group! Oh, but you already know who I am! Been awhile since I have bothered harassed reviewed you! How I found your piece...I was just putzing around and found your piece on the random review page. I just had to read your poem! First impressions...Loved it, as always! Was the title interesting...The title is what drew me in, that along with the poet! ![]() Was the content rating appropriate...absolutely, nothing above an 'e' in this one. Did you use a specific form of poetry...yes, quatrains. Did you follow the form...you did a great job following the form, but I expected no less from you! Was there a rhyme scheme- what was it...yes, abab Did the rhymes seem forced...no they were all natural sounding- excellent job! Were words forced to fit syllable count...no Was there rhythm and flow...you did a great job moving from line to line and stanza to stanza. Any errors in grammar, spelling, or punctuation...none noted, and I would let you know if I saw any... Things I would change...it was a wonderful poem and I would not change anything. It is perfect as written. Favorite parts/lines... These were my favorite lines.. He toiled 'till the job was through, the colored quilt of leaves piled high, then ran and in the air he flew – his laughter filled the autumn sky! I loved the expression colored quilt of leaves... what wonderful imagery! I also loved the image of this older gentleman raking and then jumping in the leaves...giggling the whole time!
