** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** Greetings ~Lifelessons~ , Jacquiebee here, and I came across your letter when I was looking for something to review for the senior moderators birthday challenge. Now that I have read "Invalid Item" , It is with great pleasure that I offer to you my thoughts and impressions. This review reflects my opinion only, so at your discretion, please keep or discard my views. I hope this encourages you. Purpose: As we celebrate the fourteen years that Writing.Com has served and supported authors, I thought it fitting to review something of yours. You celebrate each day with its ups and downs, sharing your joy, sorrow, coffee and everything inbetween with your WdC community. I appreciate your transparency and life of trust in One greater than us. Even though we have not been fortunate enough to be here for all the years of WdC's existence, we have benefitted greatly from the support of this wonderful community which has enriched our lives. What I See: This is a beautiful letter written in love and tribute to your husband that would no doubt bless him beyond measure. You are honoring, truthful, and give credit where it is due. The ties of love that bind you together, are portrayed beautifully in prose. The symbolism of the yellow roses is something I hope you will expound on some time. I enjoyed the oxymora of, "Your self doubt of certainty in being good enough." This is an experience I believe we share as married people. As well as your description, "fallen with grace" what a lovely way to show humility. This is real life, real marriage. Overall/Suggestions: I am inspired as I read about your marriage because I am passionate about the marriage relationship, healthy and whole. I believe that sometimes couples mistakenly believe there is a fairytale existence to be had which sets them up for a fall. We cannot grow and know the other without peaks and valleys that accompany us in this life. These times of stretching help us become the people we are meant to be and to grow in knowledge and love with the one we were meant to spend and share life with. Favorite Lines: "We tested love and it's power without knowing our path ahead of us." Marriage is founded in love, faith, and learning about one another as we grow into one dynamic duo; which you have articulated so well. "A blessing from the universe among the stars, you have fallen with grace to guide your son to be an honest young man as yourself." You have shown your husband's value as well as his courage to be a humble example for your son's benefit. "You have my love and loyalty as my best friend and my one true love." This is the greatest gift of walking through life's challenges together, the amazing love, loyalty and friendship that embraces us in true love that lasts. Closing Thought: ~Lifelessons~ , thank you for sharing this beautiful portrayal of marriage. I am grateful that this is your experience, and one that I share as well. Though there are challenging and even gut-wrenching times, there are also these amazing mountaintop experiences as we share life with our spouse. Even when we walk lonely paths, somewhere is the knowledge that we never walk alone.
