First Thoughts

I am reviewing "Poetry" Open in new Window. as part of the "WDC 14th Birthday Sr. Mod. Challenge" Open in new Window.. This is a beautiful extended metaphor showing that poetry is life. This is an intriguing definition of poetry written in the style of a prose poem that is line phased. This is a good form for this concept because it causes the reader to consider each line as she reads it. Internal rhyme emphasized specific metaphors inside the poem, while the repetition of Poetry gives this verse unity.

What I liked

These are my favorite lines because of the internal rhyme on motion and ocean.
Is words in motion, guiding others into the depths of a vision,

Is an ocean of words it’s vastness leading to calm rivers that flows,

Suggestions For Improvement

I found no technical problems or typos. I have no suggestions for improvement.

Final Thoughts

I am giving this poem a 5.0 because of the use of internal rhyme in showing the extended metaphor. Write on.
