First Thoughts: The hook was finding this intriguing poem in this weeks poetry newsletter. The main emotions of the poem are longing and sadness. The rhythm is smooth and flows easily from line to line.

What I liked: My favorite line is the first because it describes the taste of black tea.

Final Thoughts: I enjoyed this thought provoking poem. Write on.
