First Thoughts: The first stanza establishes the rhythm, rhyme scheme, and mood of the poem. The main emotions are sadness and longing, which are emphasized by the rhyming words. The rhyme and the rhythm complement each other.

What I liked: My favorite lines are the first two and the last two. I like the way the poem begins and ends with the same lines.

Final Thoughts: This is a well planned and written poem. Write on.
