Dear Kelly my name is Vicky and this is your Showering Acts of Joy member to member review in honour of your birthday. I have chosen to comment on Six Million.

I chose this specific poem because I have been researching the holocaust and was interested to see how you had interpreted.
What I found was something powerful. It was exceptionally vivid and conjured up photo like images in my mind. You successfully gave 6 million victims a very powerful voice.

In only a few lines you carried over the horror of what happened so many years ago and also the frightening reality that this can happen again so very quickly.

I had cold chills after reading this the first time, so I read it again and then I read it out loud. It has a very pleasing rhythm to it making it something that is supposed to be spoken at the top of your voice rather than read in silence.

You have handled a very grim and morbid subject with a lot of grace. Your anger comes across very clearly and your warning is impossible to miss.

You have created something that you can be exceptionally proud of.
