Welcome to WDC from "Newbie Welcome Wagon" ! Note To The Author: Reviews are limited by at least two things: The reviewer's knowledge/background and the author's temperament. Sometimes the reviewer's understanding and interpretation of a piece misses the mark. When the author believes this is the case, he can become hurt or angered. Please don't be. This review is neither a condemnation of your work, nor an extolment. It's just my opinion, nothing more. It's a hyperbolic look at love and loss and the pain one goes through adjusting to that separation. To say I understand, would be unfair to you, for we all react differently to these situations. I've had failed relationships, of course, and so I can empathize, even if I can't say that I understand the depth of your hurt. I can say that the tone is elevated, partly for effect and in part because when we hurt, we speak in extremes, well, most of us. It helps you deal with the situation and make sense of it. It's clear you saw what worked, when you were together, and it doesn't seem to say what didn't, and in that there might be more to this story, should you choose to focus on it. You do mention that the canvas was becoming rusted, faded and ridden with dust, so it's clear you atleast have accepted the situation. The last line hints at hope: "Will you find me?" Maybe I was wrong, and you haven't quite accepted the situation yet. It's a little sad, even while, being histrionic in places. Review from "Let's help each other grow- Closed"
