** Image ID #1518004 Unavailable ** Michael, this is some of the best works I have seen in your port. I can tell you worked hard on this. The story flows at an even pace and the actions and events and scenes—though science fiction—are realistic, vivid, and believable. The characters are well developed and all have their own unique personality. Ronald comes through as a gruff bounty hunter with a dry sense of humor and a no-nonsense attitude when it comes to getting the "job" done. I liked him and felt as though I knew him. You did a great job in the bar, hiding the true identity of the waitress until the end of that scene. The encounters you developed with various alien forms and the manner in which you handled technical matters such as foreign languages and transportation within the space station were excellent. I have a suggestion about this paragraph. The waitress opens this paragraph with dialogue, but then it switches to actions and dialogue from Ronald, so perhaps you should start a new paragraph with "They call it music..." “Want anything else there, stranger?” Her neck veins popped as she yelled over the noise. They call it music in this part of the galaxy. His left ear had been blown off last year on a job and was replaced by an artificial one. He could filter out the racket to hear only her voice, so she didn’t have to yell, but she didn’t know that. He looked at her with his cybernetic vision and saw that almost all of her appearance was “after market” product. With a smile, he said, “No thanks, I am good for now.” Here's a couple of typos: I hate these names, The translator doesn’t work on them. Did you mean to put a period after "names"? “You didn’t like previous pilot, did you, baby?”. Looks like you left out the word "that", and no period goes after the quotation mark. “You didn’t like that previous pilot, did you, baby?” Nice job, Michael. This deserves a 5-star rating!! I truly hope you continue to develop this character and setting into a full novel. It's a great story!! Winnie My review has been submitted for consideration in "Good Deeds Go Noticed" .
