Chapter #5

The Smithy

The Smithy of this town has a house attached to his forge and bellows. As you come upon the house, you see a crudely drawn sign attached to the fence stating:

"RANG THE BELL FOR SERVICE"

You ring the bell, but to no avail. You ring it a second time, to no avail. Finally on the Third time an older, misshapen dwarf strides out of his house yelling at you.

"I HEARD YOU THE FIRST TIME SONNY. DO YOU ALWAYS ACT SO 'MPATIENT WHEN IT COMES TO PEOPLE THAT ARE S'POSE TE HELP YE' OUT?"

After apologizing, and asking about some of his wares, you have come to a decision you must make. As you do not have the gold of a high king, you need to make a decision between the Iron Studded Leather, or the Chain Shirt. The leather will be more flexible, allowing you to move faster, but will also provide alot less protection. The Chain Shirt will protect you better, being it stretches down to cover your thighs, but at the cost of mobility.

You have the following choices:
