Answering the Door

"I have some friends coming over to play with you. We're going to have a great time, well maybe not you."

Phil doesn't like where this is going.

In a few minutes, the bell rings, and Kendra goes down to answer the door, leaving him there on the floor. This could be a perfect chance for Phil to escape. He could try to hide and then leave when they are not looking. It's extremely risky though because if he's caught he has no idea what they would do to him, over and above what they're already doing to him. Then again, the situation might not be able to get that much worse, and trying to escape might be the only way to make it better. What does he do?

2. He stays put.
