This choice: Randy Taylor, the brainy middle child • Go Back...Chapter #3Randy's the smallest Taylor - now he LITERALLY by: Shrunk Matt™ Randy swung the front door open, he was the first one home from school; Brad had gone to soccer practice and would be home a little later. Mark was off skateboarding, but he was undpredictable as to when he'd be back.
Randy threw his bag on the sofa and kicked his sneakers off, before walking through to the kitchen. He opened the fridge and pulled out a tupperware box. It was something his mom had made, which didn't bode well for him, but there was nothing else in the fridge.
He opened the lid and dipped his finger in. He couldn't tell what it was at first, and then he put his finger in his mouth; it was peppery, but he couldn't place what it was.
He walked out of the kitchen, and back into the living room, but as he reached the sofa, he started to feel a little woozy. He put one hand to his head, the other to steady himself on the sofa, then he passed out.
As he came to, his vision was blurry, he noticed two gigantic structures in front of him. As his eyes focused, he could tell that they were in fact his size 10 sneakers, which he had just kicked off only ten minutes or so earlier. As he lay there, his brain worked overtime and he worked out, judging by his size compared to his sneaker, that he was about three inches tall. His brain also old him that being on the floor at that size was dangerous.
Just as he was getting to his feet, he noticed two things; one, he was still fully clothed, and the other was that he heard the front door opening. His mom was at work, as was his dad, so that only left his older brother, soccer stud Brad or his younger brother, skateboarding goth Mark....
Choose quick, the door is almost open.... indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
