Chapter #3

A Case for Fixing that's not Broken.

    by: NelsonJ Author IconMail Icon
Penny is looking over a mostly black outfit with a pink heart over the chest. At the neck of the outfit seems to be a clear 'hood' for her to put over her entire head so that the whole suit covers every inch of her body. Penny herself is wearing her usual lab clothes. "There...just a few more tweaks and..." she says, as she makes a few adjustments to the outfit "There we go!" she exclaims, picking up the outfit. "With these adjustments my suit should be able to handle extreme conditions much better." She says, pulling off her boots and slipping on the suit while still wearing the lab coat. Afterwards, she pulls off the outfit and puts on her usual pink jacket. "Now that I've tweaked both of these things, I'm ready to put them to the test!"

Penny walks over to a pad that is hooked up to a device that causes it to heat up. "Now, let's see just how much heat this thing can take." she says, as she goes over to the device and turns it up as high as she can before going over to the pad, waiting to see how well the suit will react. As it heats up, Penny feels her suit bind to the surface of her body, including her hair. While she does find this out of the ordinary, her curiosity gets the best of her and she wonders what will happen if she continues the experiment in her current state.
