"Look, I really do want to welcome you," Perry continued. "Can I help you unload?"
"Sure, that would be great." you say.
The two big boys heads out to the truck and helps your dad. It is really warm, and both boys are sweating and breathing hard after a few trips back and forth. After the fifth round Perry finds a chair among the mess and sits down.
"This is heavy work; my legs are hurting," he states. You are getting tired yourself, and your legs are also starting to hurt so you find a chair of your own and join him.
"Guess neither of us is used to doing much physical stuff," you say.
"Yeah. I think it's years since last time I strained myself. I mostly just chill out and eat," Perry says.
"That sentence applies to me too," you reply.
Your father has noticed both of you taking a rest and has found a bottle of Pepsi and three glasses. The Pepsi is warm, but it still tastes good after the exertion you just had.
Your dad has half a glass and returns to work, but you and Perry finish the bottle. It's been about 20 minutes since you sat down, you feel ready to get back to work, but Perry wants to wait a little longer.
