Kevin thought the field trip was stupid and boring and spent most of his time, when not complaining sarcastically, with his arms folded across his chest and standing still, content to watch the younger boys in their silly chases after dumb insects.
His white tee shirt confused one little bug which didn't even see the approaching obstacle into it flew headlong into it. "Owww!" Ryan exclaimed. "What happened?"
The little bug-man hovered in front of Kevin's chest. Hovering a bit higher and tilting his head back, Ryan felt his blood freeze. "Oh no! Not Kevin!"
Kevin felt a tiny flying pest ping off his tee shirt and changed his mind. If the dumb bugs were going to throw themselves at him, he might as well collect one so the teacher wouldn't jump his ass.
He spread his hands apart, zeroed in on the hovering bug, and clapped his hands together.
Ryan heard a loud boom as the gigantic eighth grader brought his hands together.
