You decide to get in your tent and hide behind one of the opening flaps, whatever's out there could be dangerous. You are, after all, out in the wild, with wild animals, with wild appetites.
You made a very wise decision. You hear the soft padding of 4 little pads on the ground, and you know it to be a wolf. Glad you didn't ask for help now, aren't you? The wolf passes by without incident, and heads out on the trail for some small mammals.
Knowing it's safe, you head on out again. The realization that at any time you are in danger certainly isn't comfortable even for one as adventerous as yourself. The only way to be safe, you decide, is just to not get caught by anything. You aren't exactly at a stature to fight anything other than ants, and there weren't any of those here, thankfully.
You do need a way to fight any other predators that would come your way...right?
