The dog pushes her south into the gap, sniffing more. You're barely able to remain out of reach, but you can't stay there forever. Your dog is very smart, you've noticed over the years, and she'll find a way to get you out of there whether you like it or not. You start thinking about how to escape, when suddenly, something wet, warm, and slimy touches the top of your head. You look up, and immediately wish you hadn't, as your face is covered in dog tongue. She's licking at whatever she found in the gap, trying to taste it and see what it is. You cough and try to wipe off the dog drool on your head, but it doesn't do much good considering what you're about to undergo.
You keep trying to figure out how to escape, but it's too late. The dog knows something is in the gap between the cushions, and she wants to get it out. Her tongue slips from her maw and presses up against you, moving surprisingly dextrously and, to your terror, wrapping around your torso. You hit it, trying to get the dog to uncoil its tongue from you, but it's no use. Your dog has just grabbed you with her tongue. She pulls you out of the gap, screaming and squirming, and up into the air. She keeps her grip on you, and pulls her tongue back into her mouth. She maneuvers you a bit, then clamps down with her teeth, trapping you inside...
