Knowing that simply standing on the oven-hot sidewalk would result in nothing but him being stepped on or being attacked by some hungry bug,Bryan opted to approach the only person that he could see,the young drummer.
After a grueling walk through the desert-like expanse that was the sidewalk,Bryan reached the shade given by the cafe.Although what was once loud rhythmic drumming from further down the sidewalk,Bryan could hardly hear himself think with the loud,earth-shaking noise the drummer was now producing.
Now that he was closer,Bryan had to think of a plan to receive help from this stranger,Looking around he spotted the plastic bowl containing a few coins and dollar bills earned by the drummer’s work through the morning.The drummer would have to look at his earnings when he finished his drumming.Observing the sweaty man himself,he could barely see the man’s face,it appeared as if it rose up into the clouds,even while he was seated!Bryan tried to think of a way to get his attention directly.
The drummer would never hear Bryan over the sound of the drums,and he would never see Bryan if he had no reason to look down.Bryan eyes the man’s feet laying flat on the ground next to a pair of discarded sandals.Bryan could find away to gain attention from interacting with the sweaty foot or he could try climbing the man’s body to reach a more visible spot for attention.
Bryan considered his options.He could climb into the man’s bowl of money and wait for a chance to get help,or he could interact with the man directly at his feet.There was also the option to enter the cafe to search for different (and preferably safer) ways to get help.
