Bryan felt his heart skip a beat when he saw where he had landed. The image of Zack looming over him at a mile time had seemed fun just a moment ago,but now,Bryan could see that he had grossly underestimated what the world looked like from such a minuscule size. Tommy stood taller than any mountain that he had ever seen, and that was when he was all the way in the kitchen, where he was currently placing the package into his backpack.
“Wait! The package! My antidote is in there!” Bryan realized that without it,he would be trapped here in the world of dust and fleas, rather than the world of men that Tommy and his nephew where a part of. Bryan had tried to sprint across the expanse of carpet, but he was now too small to even dent the carpet fibers he stood atop of. He was forced to watch helplessly as Tommy made his way out the door and locked it behind him, unknowingly taking Bryan’s only means of restoring his size back to normal.
Bryan could feel his eyes tearing up at the situation he was in,simply staring at the floor for what felt like an hour. How was he supposed to stop Tommy from delivering his antidote to his nephew across the country? He knew the answer though. He couldn’t.Tommy would take his 30 minute walk to the post office and deliver the package as Bryan himself had asked him to,and Bryan would be stuck in this size forever. He would need a miracle to save himse-
Bryan was snapped out of his thoughts when he heard noise coming from his front door.Eyeing it closely,he could see a strange object messing with the latch on the door before a distinct *CLICK* signaled that his door had been unlocked. Not a moment later it swung open to reveal a very familiar face.

“Hey bro, your house security still sucks.” Matt stepped into his brothers house with an old gift card in hand that he used to jimmy open weak locks, and gave a confused glance around the house. He listened to see if his brother was moving around the house but heard nothing.”Is he out somewhere this early in the morning? His car is still outside.”
Matt figured that his brother had simply left to take a walk and made himself right at home. He made his way over to the living room and flopped down onto the couch. After flicking on the tv to do some channel surfing,he kicked off his shoes and let his sockless feet settle on the carpet.Matt knew his brother absolutely hated his body odor but he figured that this was his punishment for not being here to welcome his favorite little brother into his house.
——-
Bryan just barely managed to hold in his breakfast when the wave of stench rolled over him. He couldn’t believe the disrespect his brother was showing by breaking into his house, again, and spreading his horrible odor around, again.Bryan remembered the time his little brother had borrowed his car before he had bought his own,and had returned it smelling like a gym locker room.He had given his workout buddies a ride and they had fumigated his poor car with sweat.
A realization came to Bryan.Matt actually has a car now! He could easily reach the post office and stop Tommy from unknowingly shipping his antidote across the country! With a flicker of hope igniting in him,Bryan turned to look at his brother,or more accurately, his dreadful bare feet.He had to get his brother’s help if he wanted any chance at growing back to normal.Tommy had his antidote and he couldn’t simply make another one in his lab at this size.
With newfound determination,Bryan cupped his hands over his nose and made his way towards his brother. The mote sized scientist had to take care not to misstep and get his foot stuck in the carpet fibers, but he soon got the hang of it.His destination clear,Bryan….
