Chapter #8

Slipping

With a burst of frantic energy Bryan managed to pull himself up the tear and haul his upper body inside the box. He was trying to pull his legs in as well when he heard Tommy talking again.
"This box is real light mister. You got any idea what the Doc is sending?"
Greg shrugged his shoulders, "No idea. I'm just gonna be working out of his office for a coupla days."
Tommy lifted the package up next to the side of his head and gave it a shake to see if he could hear anything rattling inside.
Bryan screamed as the violent movement slammed his body around. With a scream he felt himself loose his grip and slip backwards out of the tiny tear and fly out into space.
Luckily for him he was so light that he didn't simply plunge to his death.
Instead he found himself flung lazily through the air, almost floating across the room. A large blue shape came into view in front of him and he realised with a shock that he was headed directly towards Greg's chest.
