Two Choices

Jake grasped onto on of the loose threads as he was knocked out the hole. He held a death grip on the thread as he swung back and forth dangerously. He realized that he had two choices to make as the paper boy was walking slower now.

The paper boy was wearing some loose pants. If Jake tried, he could probably time his jump to land in either a pocket or the front. His other choice would be to try to climb the rope-like thread to get back inside the bag.
