He is grateful for his increased strength but climbing stairs is like climbing a mountain. The situation is made worse because he's naked but that also means he has some resources. He takes time to unlace one of his shoes so he can use it as rope. He finds a bent piece of wire that he uses to add a grappling hook to his rope. He digs in his pocket for his handkerchief which he fashions into a makeshift toga. Then he discovers his cell phone. It would be difficult to use but might be worth the effort.
