The warm concrete around the fountain felt good on Kelly's feet as she wandered toward it. It seemed like the perfect place to stir up some trouble. The fountain was enclosed by four huge bushes that must be at least ten feet tall, and only little paths lead away from it.
To Kelly's surprise, there were a few skateboarders at the fountain. She didnt reconize them though. They lay around the edge on the fountain, one on the ground. Each looked like a typical punk, besides the one on the ground who seemed to be goth.
Kelly really didnt have anything against them, but she figured what better way to find out if this remote actually worked. They didnt even look up as she wandered in! How pefect was that?
So, feeling a little embarassed and a little nervous, Kelly took out the remote. 'If this doesn't work I'm going to look so STUPID!' she thought, pointing the remote at one guy sitting on the edge of the fountain.
With a click the remote unleashed a short whirr and a blast of light. Instantly their friend was reduced to an inch tall. The others jumped up and looked to Kelly, but before they could even speak she began blasting away at them too! Within moments, all four of the skateboarders were shrunk.
