But we have plenty of work on plant vore that needs to be done. I'm sure we can find a team for you in that area."
"Right now there are three main areas of research in plants:
Agriculture: This is the study of how to care for various plants (in this case primarily the carnivorous ones). The women or other live prey sent here don't tend to survive since they are mostly used to fertilize the various plants we have there. But the fruits of their sacrifice should be well worth it due to the produce or beuty these plants provide. Right now we have giant venus fly traps, pitcher plants, numerous fuit bearing or necter producing plants and we are doing research on slimes as well.
Protection and medicine: Here we are doing research on how to protect humans from dangerous plants or to work on new medicines produced from plants. Here we try to keep the human volunteers alive as much as possible. Though there is the occasional accident, hopefully we can learn from our mistakes to improve things down the line. Our main areas of research for the moment are making ointments to protect people from the digestive juices of carnivorous plants or testing out the medicines extracted from plants.
Animal Plant Hybrids: This area is a recent development, an attempt to combine plant and animal DNA or tissue to make hybrids. Imagine making animals that could gain energy from the sun without having to eat at all! Or a way to grow numerous new prey from plants to help feed the growing predetor population! Right now most of our volunteer prey are being used to test out new photosynthesizing pretetors... predetors who can swallow a person without having to digest them. Though we are working on a way to grow new prey here and we need eaters to test them for flavor and food safety.
