Mae 'Maeby' Fünke sat watching TV, her brain working feverishly. Maeby was 16 and a rather troublesome teenager. It was common knowledge that Maeby deplored any form of discipline or order (especially when it came from her parents), and in fact openly sought out any opportunity to rebel. Whenever she was told to do something she would often do the exact opposite and took a great amount of pleasure in the effects this had on people. She also enjoyed the effects that her looks had on guys her age (most currently her cousin George Micheal), as despite her numerous freckles she was a very pretty girl. Her hair was of a dark chestnut, the same colour as her eyes, and was long, frizzy and constantly being styled differently by her incredibly superficial mother. Her features seemed to be able to tread the line between strong and delicate, and her body was slim (she perhaps weighed 110 pounds) though not overally skinny.
At the moment she was bored which was a quite common as she got bored incredibly easily, and it was actually during these moments where she often decided to rebel. This was definitely the case at the moment because he brain was currently trying to devise something that would piss her mother off. As she thought, her mother; Lindsey Fünke, walked into the room and regarded her daughter with haughty disapproval.
"Seriously Maeby?" She said as she rolled her eyes, "Do you ever do anything but sit around?"
"Sometimes I lie around" Replied Maeby sarcastically, and her mother narrowed her eyes.
"Well if that's all you ever plan to do your going to get fat" Said Lindsey, "And I will not have a fat daughter! Think of what people will say!"
Maeby smiled at this remark, but Lindsey didn't seem to notice and left the room. Her mother hadn't realized the grave error she had just made, because she had just told Maeby exactly what she wanted to hear... That being what she SHOULDN'T do.
