Christine enters

Eliza stared at the figure, who was drenched from the storm.

"Christine!" Eliza gasped. "You promised not to follow me!"

Christine stepped inside the lodge and shook the water out of her light brown hair. She sighed. "Something's come up. He knows,"

Eliza stared back at her. "What?"

"Your husband knows about the affair." She pulled her gray peacoat around her and shivered. "I wanted to tell you before Trevor got here."

Eliza scoffed. "It's about time he found out... It's just payback for all the times he's done it to me."

"Please," Christine scolded. "Since when do two wrongs make a right?"

"Yeah... you warned me... you've been trying to keep me out of trouble since college."

"And you've given me plenty of work! Anyway, I just came to tell you... who knows how he will react when he sees you."

KNOCK KNOCK!

"Eliza! Get out here!" A male voice resounded, yelling over the sound of the storm outside.
