Anne goes with Trevor to the cabin.

Anne wringed her wet hands together in as nervous attempt to calm her frayed nerves. She was already in enough trouble, what harm could going alone with a strange man in the middle of nowhere be?

As a child, her mum always warned her to never, ever go alone with a stranger. But she was stuck on the side of the road in storm with no cell phone. If she didn't go with him, she could be stuck there in her cold car for hours, if not all night. That thought terrified her. Perhaps just this one time Anne would break her mother's rule. After all, if he tried anything, she had pepper spray in her purse for reasons like these.

"I's like to come with you. I don't have a phone, and who knows when someone else might show up this way," said Anne, biting her lower lip. "I'll be quiet as a mouse. You won't even notice I'm there. So what do you say?"
