"I'll go turn the equipment off for the day," Bob said. He motioned to the platform where Sharron was standing. "Could you go get her for me?"

To the little woman, Hailey was terrifyingly tall, and the sight of the giantess approaching froze her in place. All she could do was stare up as the giant scientist leaned down, reaching out with a hand to pick her up like a dropped toy.

Before Hailey could grab her, though, there was a second malfunction. As Bob shut down the equipment, a small static shock passed from him to the circuit board. He yiped and jumped back as lights flashed across the machinery and, before Hailey could even react, the dying device whirred to life one more time. With Sharron already shrunk, there was only one viable target for the device to repeat its function on; Hailey shrieked and the room expanded up and away from her, faster and faster until she stood just as small as the woman she'd been leaning down to grab. Both were too shocked to really react to each other, leaving Bob to wander over and look down at the tiny two.

"I guess I'm taking both of you home, then," Bob commented after a long pause. Hailey couldn't deny a sense of dread as she thought she saw her fellow scientist smiling down at the both of them.
